Charity

As part of our commitment to our local community and our annual chosen charity, as a trainee at Higgs & Sons you will automatically be included in the Charity Committee.

The Charity Committee works towards raising much needed funds through a range of different events and activities throughout the year. They also commit to spending time throughout the year working for the chosen charity.

In 2010, we chose to support Wings (Wombourne Special Needs Support Group).  To give you an idea of the types of events held throughout the year, we have listed a few below:

  • Easter Cake Bake
  • Recipe Book
  • Annual Quiz
  • Higgs WINGS it to Paris Charity Bike Ride
  • WINGS Winter Wonderland Christmas Fayre

This year we are supporting 'LFBC' - Ladies Fighting for Breast Cancer.
