I graduated with a degree in law from the University of Birmingham in 2008. I then took a year out during which time I gained legal experience working in a litigation department. I returned to Birmingham in 2009 to attend The College of Law and complete the LPC.

Prior to starting with Higgs & Sons I took a further year out and worked as a paralegal in unsecured credit litigation, dealing mainly with the enforcement of County Court Judgments. Higgs & Sons appealed to me as a firm with a great reputation for quality advice, and I knew that it was where I wanted to train and work.

I am currently a first year trainee. I received a great welcome on joining the firm and was invited to attend social events even before I started. My first seat is in the Private Client department and I have felt included and supported by colleagues since my first day in the department. There is a lot of client contact and I have really enjoyed the work I have done so far.

The atmosphere at Higgs & Sons is extremely open and inclusive. I am proud to be a part of the firm and I am really looking forward to developing my career here.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching films, socialising and travelling.
