Rachel Seaton

I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2010 with a Law with Business Studies degree. After University I went on to study the LPC course at The College of Law Birmingham and joined Higgs & Sons in September 2011.

I am currently in the Corporate department which I am thoroughly enjoying. I have been given a wide variety of work and have had client contact from my first day. The team is great to work with and has made me feel very welcome. I share an office with a partner which is a great opportunity for a trainee.

Higgs & Sons are an exceptional firm to work for and I am looking forward to experiencing other departments in the future. Everyone at the firm has been very supportive which has helped me to settle in right away, in fact I met many of the staff at various events even before my training contract started.

My hobbies are horse riding, netball and skiing. I have joined the Birmingham Trainee Solicitors' Society (BTSS) and Junior Lawyers Division (JLD) and look forward to attending many of the networking events.
