Veronika Ulicna

I am originally from Slovakia and I have graduated from the Birmingham City University in 2009 with a degree in Law. I then completed the LPC at The College of Law in Birmingham.

It's my first seat in the commercial department and I have already been exposed to a variety of work. I have attended a client interview, completed a number of Website HealthCheck Reports and recently, I have been asked to draft a loan and a hive-up agreement. There is always a kind person who is happy to help and there isn't such a thing as asking too many questions.

Whilst work can be demanding, we are encouraged to participate in activities outside of the office, too. I have already been to a number of after work drinks and a number of seminars. If I add to this a very sociable intake of 'co-trainees' and the calibre of people that I work with I really believe that I could not be in a better position to start my career in law.

Overall, Higgs offers challenging and dynamic environment in which you can excel and I am really pleased that I have been given the opportunity to train here.
