I decided that Higgs &
Sons was the firm for me whilst studying LLB Law at the University
of Birmingham. After graduating I studied the LPC at the College of
Law in Birmingham, completing this in the summer of 2010.
I am now in the second year of my training
contract, having already had the opportunity to experience
seats in Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence, Crime and
Private Client. The quality of work I have been exposed to
throughout my training contract has been, and continues to
be, first-class. Higgs & Sons puts a great
deal of effort into ensuring that trainees are involved with the
firm from the outset and continue to be part of the team throughout
the training contract period. I am currently Charity Chair,
organising fundraising events to support our Charity of the Year,
Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer, which is just one of the many
opportunities trainees have at Higgs & Sons.
It is a cliché but everyone at Higgs & Sons is friendly and supportive The open-door policy really is an open-door policy and I look forward to continuing to embrace the opportunities Higgs & Sons is able to offer!
