Doug joined Higgs & Sons in 2011. He was admitted as a solicitor in 2009 having trained with a Birmingham law firm. Doug has experience of civil and commercial litigation in both the County Court and High Court. Doug also has experience of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Doug specialises in matters relating to contentious probate, trust and estate administration disputes, family provision claims, disputes concerning beneficial ownership of property, constructive and resulting trusts, co-ownership disputes and contentious Court of Protection work.
