Gavin has considerable and wide ranging experience in advising upon all aspects of civil and commercial litigation with a strong focus on contentious probate and trust litigation. He is an affiliate member of STEP and holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trust disputes.

Gavin also has a broad knowledge and experience of alternative dispute resolution and in particular mediation. Gavin has experience in acting for charities, is also an accredited mediator and is on the ADR Group panel.  Gavin is a full member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists, one of the few in the West Midlands. Gavin is also a member of the Property Litigation Association, the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association and the Birmingham Law Society Dispute Resolution Committee.
