What's it about?

The Franchising team at Higgs & Sons will give an overview of the legal framework for franchising in the UK including what to expect from a franchise agreement.

Ken Braddock, Senior Franchise Manager, will give an overview of what the bank is looking for when considering a lending proposal from a franchise prospect.  HSBC has had a specialist franchise unit for over 25 years and sponsors the British Franchise Association's franchisor and franchisee of the year awards.

The Franchise Consultant's perspective
Iain Martin of Mr Franchise, will explain the attributes you would expect to find in a successful franchise, what makes a successful franchisee - and how he matches the two together.  Iain has over 15 years experience in the franchise sector.
