This seminar has been designed for Public & private sector employers, employment and litigation lawyers, human resource managers, line managers, managing partners.

Why attend?

  • Souring numbers of Employment Tribunal claims are set to cost UK employers £2.6 billion over the next 3 years in administrative costs, in legal fees defending and awards.
  • The average legal costs of a case are £20,000.
  • The number of claims brought to Tribunals has increased by 56% to 236,100 claims in the year.
  • On average it costs each employer 9 days of management time dealing with grievances and an average of 13 days of management and HR time dealing with disciplinary cases each year.
  • Mediation is endorsed by the ACAS Code of Practice and the Employment Act 2008 as being the most effective way of avoiding these costs. Find out how mediation can be used to save you time and money and improve profitability.
