I joined Higgs in January 2021 after 8 years at an international law firm in London.
I have experience in a diverse range of commercial property matters and advise a variety of clients across several sectors including in professional services; telecoms; nurseries and care homes; finance; and automotive. I have also historically had ample experience working in the advertising and media sector.
I advise clients on headquarter moves, portfolio management, and general landlord and tenant matters including advising on new leases, renewals and re-gearing. I also have ample experience of working on acquisitions and disposals of high value commercial property.
My corporate support experience is also widely varied, working on acquisitions, disposals and corporate re-structuring on often complex and highly pressurised transactions.
- After 20 years of operation, one of Higgs LLP’s major clients had outgrown its current premises and decided to make the move to larger space. The transaction was hugely important for the business who were transitioning from small, serviced offices with a rent of around £8,000 per annum, to a much larger space commanding a rent of over £200,000 per annum. Despite complex title and tax issues, Aman was able to successfully complete the deal within the tight timeframes set by the client.
- Working with SG International Limited on their acquisition of logistics business AMCO. This high value transaction presented a range of property challenges that we were able to find a commercial way around.
- Advising The Old Station Nursery on a variety of its acquisitions including that of Little Green Rascals with direct access to seven new prime locations in York.
- Advising an international corporate client on its competitive bid of a potentially £60 million transaction. Undertaking an in-depth due diligence of 7 sites within a 2-week deadline.
