"I am a registered social worker with extensive experience supporting people at times of crisis. I have an innovative and creative approach, adapting to the needs of a diverse group of clients at a time when the sudden impact of life changing events can influence all aspects of their lives”

Client support is an integral part of the ethos here at Higgs. My role is to support those who have experienced life changing injuries arising from significant personal injury or injuries arising from medical negligence. I am a registered social worker with many years’ experiences working in the local community.

The role encompasses a wide remit, first and foremost to provide practical support to our clients in the initial stages of their rehabilitation. I am able to visit clients in hospital if they wish, to liaise with them and their families and take time to support them in understanding the discharge planning process in order to plan their next priorities.

I support with initial assessment and liaison with allied health and social care professionals and case managers to ensure that our clients have access to relevant support and treatment.

I am registered with Social Work England
