Emily Parkes

Principal Associate - Corporate

"I am a corporate lawyer working predominantly on company mergers, acquisitions and disposals for a wide range of clients, across a variety of sectors.”

I am a principal associate in Higgs’ corporate law team, having joined the firm in October 2018 as a newly qualified solicitor.

I advise companies and business owners on a range of M&A matters including asset and share acquisitions and disposals, corporate reorganisations and management buy-outs, as well as general company law and corporate governance issues.

I act for businesses of all sizes, across a wide range of sectors, and always seek to tailor my advice based on individual needs and specific objectives. I also have extensive experience and specialism in dealing with clients and professionals in the childcare sector.

Overall, I pride myself on providing exceptional client service and going above and beyond to ensure that clients have a positive experience and feel supported throughout the entire deal process.

I am recognised as a Key Lawyer within the team by the Legal 500 2023 and was nominated as Rising Star in the Women & Diversity in Law Awards 2022.
