Georgia McCutcheon

Trainee Solicitor - Family Law

"I am first-year trainee solicitor currently in my second seat with the family team. I am keen to develop my technical and legal knowledge from a variety of teams across the business.”

After my insightful vacation scheme at Higgs, I graduated from the University of East Anglia with a 2:1 Law Degree in 2022. I then went on to achieve a Distinction in my LPC LLM in 2023 with the University of Law. In September 2023 I joined Higgs as a trainee solicitor.

Throughout my degree I volunteered for a local pro-bono law clinic, supporting family lawyers in giving free legal advice to domestic abuse victims. During my LPC, I worked as an in-house paralegal for a local housing association based in East Anglia.

Since starting at Higgs, I have co-founded the Higgs Book Club with my fellow trainee, Lauren Moult. We have around 20 members and meet monthly to discuss that month’s pick!
