James Adams

Principal Associate - Commercial Property

"I am a down to earth commercial property lawyer with expertise in development transactions, all landlord and tenant and general asset management matters and who delivers advice with a commercial and pragmatic approach.”

I qualified in April 2015 and joined the firm in August 2016 to come back to my Black Country roots, having previously worked for an international law firm in Birmingham.

I am a commercial property lawyer who advises on a wide range of commercial property transactions, including disposals and acquisitions, and landlord and tenant work, with a particular emphasis on development work. I have experience of acting for a variety of clients ranging from sole traders and small private companies to international developers and investment funds and have developed a keen interest in the licenced sector and energy sector, particularly the delivery of renewable energy projects.

By taking a commercial, hands-on approach to the often complex legal issues surrounding commercial property law, I am able to deliver an efficient and positive outcome for clients without the need to get bogged down in the technical legalese.
