I qualified as an Employment Solicitor in 2013 after training at Spearing Waite LLP, and joined the Higgs Employment Team in December 2018.
I advise on all elements of employment law, acting on behalf of employers and individuals. I regularly advise on disciplinary and grievance issues, sickness absence management, redundancy processes, settlement agreements, exit negotiations and drafting contracts of employment and handbook policies.
I am experienced in defending clients in litigation proceedings, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, unlawful deductions from wages and claims inherited through past TUPE transfers.
I have developed a specialism in advising on the employment aspects of the GDPR, drafting compliant Data Protection Policies and accompanying documents and advising on organisational changes for GDPR compliance.
