Brass partnership sets the gold standard for Higgs & BCLM

Leading law firm Higgs & Sons has re-affirmed its commitment to its Black Country roots by forging a partnership with one of the region’s most iconic institutions.

Black Country Living Museum (BCLM) marked its 40th anniversary in 2018 and Higgs & Sons helped them celebrate by committing to its premier partnership package.

The Brass partnership – named in reference to the region’s industrial heritage (the others being Coal and Iron) - is the highest level of its Business Partners scheme.

The partnership provides a number of benefits to Higgs & Sons including access to unique museum events, complimentary tickets for Higgs staff and the use of museum facilities to host events and seminars.

Higgs & Sons’ Managing Partner Paul Hunt believes the partnership will be a valuable asset to the firm: “We are thrilled to be the first Brass partner of BCLM, an affiliation which not only reaffirms our joint heritage but which also celebrates those Black Country qualities of loyalty, endeavour, tenacity and innovation, which helped to forge the region and of which we remain proud to this day.”

Higgs has already made use of BCLM’s facilities when more than 100 guests made up of clients, professional contacts, suppliers and colleagues gathered at the Workers’ Institute in October for the firm’s annual charity quiz.

“We are delighted to be teaming up with acclaimed Black Country law firm Higgs &  Sons as a Brass Partner,” said Kate Kirkpatrick, Business Development Manager at BCLM.

“It is local businesses such as Higgs with whom we are proud to be strengthening links, providing opportunities for marketing, entertainment, events and unique Black Country experiences demonstrating history and sparking creativity.”
