Covid-19: Filing accounts on time

Unfortunately, failure to file your accounts on time risks automatic fines, prosecution, disqualification for the directors and even dissolution of the company.

You can now apply to extend the period for filing of accounts if you make the relevant application before the date on which the accounts are due to be filed.  However, if you do not apply for an extension, and your accounts are filed late, the penalty imposed is automatic, and Companies House have very limited discretion about waiving this.

If you would like to discuss any of these issues in more detail, you can contact

Richard Freeman on 01384 327253 or

If you have any other general queries or concerns that you feel we can assist with then please email and somebody will get back to you as a matter of urgency.
