Irine Joseph

I joined Higgs LLP in September of 2023 as a legal assistant. This was following the LLM/SQE 1&2 course at the University of Law in Birmingham. I completed my LLB at the University of Northampton and graduated with honours in 2022. I am currently completing my SQE examinations with the SRA.

My previous experiences include working with Shoosmiths and Equivo as a paralegal in their asset based lending, litigation and recoveries team. I also worked in their unsecured recoveries team.

In my current role at Higgs I work closely with the debt recovery team and assist in pre-legal and legal recoveries, including drafting letters before action and issuing claims against debtors for our clients.

I had an amazing experience at the Higgs Spring Vacation Scheme in March 2023. I was subsequently offered a training contract with the firm, and this will commence in September 2024.
