I am an Associate in the commercial litigation team, having joined Higgs upon qualification in September 2022. Prior to joining Higgs, I worked at a law firm in Birmingham.
I have been advising on a range of commercial disputes. Typically, I assist clients in relation to contractual disputes, debt recovery, reputational management and consumer rights/remedies.
I act for individuals, partnerships and businesses of varying size.
- Obtained compensation for an individual whose consumer rights had been breached. The client was an individual who was given a vehicle as part of a PCP agreement that had numerous faults.
- Assisted on a team move breach of restrictive covenant case and was able to achieve a settlement that protected our client’s interests.
- Successfully defended a breach of contract claim in the small claims track.
- Advised on a case involving reputational management i.e. defamation of character and achieved a settlement in our client’s favour.
